Harry T. Naydock, Sr. POTTSVILLEHarry T. Naydock, Sr., of Orwigsburg, passed away Thursday morning at the Pottsville Hospital. Born in Frackville, on September 10, 1926, he was the son of the late William and Mary Krestynich Naydock. Harry was a graduate of Frackville High School, where he was a second all-state fottball player, he attended Wake Forest university on a football scholarship, he was a graduate of St. Jopseph's Hospital, Philadelphia, where he became a registered nurse and he graduated from Franklin and Marshall College, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. He was Administrator of Delaware State Home and Hospital from 1967 until 1971, he then became assistant administrator of the Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville from 1971 until 1987, when he retired. He was recognized by Who's Who in America in 1968. He was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Schuylkill Haven. He was also a member of the Byzantine Chorus. He was preceded in death by his son, Harry T. Naydock, Jr., who died in 1985; his three brothers, William, Samuel and John Naydock. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helena Sparks Naydock, Orwigsburg; her two daughters, Jean Jones, wife of Richard, of Hamburg, and Christine Klephchick, wife of Anthony, of Zebulon, NC; his two sons, Karl Naydock, husband of Lori, of Easton and James Naydock, husband of Brenda, of Schuylkill Haven; his sister, Mary Ann Blazofski, of Coplay, PA; his two brothers, Alfred Naydock, of Arlington, VA and Michael Naydock, of Orwigsburg; his 10 Grandchildren; his 2 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at Noon from St. Ambrose Church, Schuylkill Haven. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
