Harry M. Pearsall, 79, of Troy, PA passed away on Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Troy Community Hospital. He was the loving husband of Annette (Frick) Schucker Pearsall. The couple married February 18, 1985 and had 24 happy years together. Family and friends are welcome to call from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc. 110 West Main Street, Troy, PA. The funeral service to honor Harry's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 22, 2010 at the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Marple officiating with Ozzie Osgood assisting. The Troy Veterans Honor Guard will give military rites following the funeral service. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Harry was born on February 13, 1930 in Rugby, England, son of the late Harry and Beatrice Maude (Matthews) Pearsall. He was a veteran of Britain's Royal Air Force, serving during the Korean War. After immigrating to the United States, Harry became a U.S. citizen on November 7, 1989. Harry was an electrician by trade, owned HMP Electric in Troy, PA, and spent much of his time working on the electric of the Troy Fair Grounds. He was a member of the Troy American Legion Post #49 and the Troy Vets Club. Harry enjoyed golf and was a member of the Corey Creek Golf Club in Mansfield, PA. He attended the Olde Covert Church on Armenia Mountain. Harry is survived by his wife Annette, his son Bernard Pearsall of Hamilton, in Ontario, Canada, his daughter Denise (Larry) Fenton of Hamilton, in Ontario, Canada, his step daughters: Marlene (Ed) Mockaitis of Sarasota, FL, Kathy (Alan) Walsh of Darlington, MD, Brenda (Henry) Holloway of Darlington, MD, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his brother John (Jean) Pearsall, who live in Great Britain, and several nieces and nephews. His parents predeceased Harry. Memorial contributions may be made in Harry's memory to the Olde Covert Church RR 1 Box 368, Troy, PA 16947.
