Harry F. Ream, Sr.

YORK—Harry F. Ream Sr., 91, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Georgeanna R. (Nauss) Ream.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11:00AM Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Druck Valley United Methodist Church, 4481 Druck Valley Rd, York. Officiating the service will be Christine Baker. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Beaver Urich Funeral Home Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements.

Born January 24, 1931 in Harrisburg, he was a son of the late Marlin and Florence (Whickenheiser) Ream.

He was employed as a truck driver for many years with various companies throughout the area.

An avid NASCAR and Tony Stewart fan, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a member of Druck Valley United Methodist Church.

Mr. Ream is survived by 2 daughters, Kimberly L. Barnhart and fiancé, George of York and Denise L. Chamberlain and husband, Wayne of York Haven; 2 sons, Harry F. Ream Jr., and his wife, Vicky of Marysville and Brian K. Ream and his wife, Patty of Millersburg; 20 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Jim Duncan of York and John Duncan of Camp Hill; 1 sister, Martha Zeiders of Camp Hill and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Rodney E. Ream Sr., great grandson, Kory Stafford; 2 daughters, Ruth M. Ream and Bonnie J. Zellers and 2 brothers, Clarence and Marlin Ream.
