Harry D. Welshans

LOCK HAVEN - Harry D. Welshans, 50, died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. He was born August 7, 1963 in Lock Haven, the son of the late Harry D. and Mable (Kulp) Welshans. Harry worked as a foreman for the Carpenters Union Local #76. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking and cabinetmaking. He was a 1981 graduate of Sugar Valley High School. Surviving are one daughter Katie L. Welshans of Blanchard a son Dustin Welshans of South Williamsport and one granddaughter Madison Elizabeth. Three brothers Howard (April) Welshans (twin), Alan Welshans and Paul Welshans all of Loganton. Two sisters Ardena (Jeff) Cathcart of Jersey Shore and Karen Welshans of Woolrich. A brother Randy Welshans preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M., Sunday, October 27, 2013 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Memorial contributions can be made to the family. Interment will be private.
