POTTSVILLE - Harry B. Lilley, 71, of St. Clair, died Wednesday morning at the Schuylkill Medical Center, East Norwegian St., Pottsville. Born in Pottsville on March 23, 1939, he was a son of the late Harry O. and Helen E. Bertram Lilley. He was a graduate of Pottsville High School. On November 21, 1959, he married the former Rosa A. Alfonsi, who survives. Harry was in the Navy for 13 years, a third class machinist mate, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a former member of the St. Joseph Church, Pottsville, and a current member of the St. Clare of Assisi Church, St. Clair. He was a Fourth Degree Knight in the St.Clair Knights of Columbus, Council 1426. Harry belonged to the St. Joseph Men of the Sacred Heart and was also a member of the Fleet Reserve Association. For the past 10 years, Harry worked at the Uni-Mart in St. Clair. In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by: a brother Robert D. Lilley. In addition to his wife of 50 years, Rosa, Harry is survived by: two sons, Robert J. and his wife Diane Lilley, Hagerstown, and Harry M. and his wife Courtney Lilley, Chambersburg; two daughters, Sharon M. and her husband Jay Korman, Spring Mills and Helenann and her husband Jarrod Gipe, of Carlisle; a brother, Edward Lilley, of Kutztown; nine grandchildren, Lindsey Korman, Jared Korman, Courtney Strause, Lee Allen Strause, Shawn Gipe, Michael Lilley, Rachel Lilley, James Lilley and Riley Lilley; and nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Clare of Assisi Church, Mill & E. Hancock St., St. Clair, on Monday morning at 10 AM. Family and friends may call from the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, Inc., 6th & W. Market St., Pottsville on Sunday evening from 7-9 PM and Monday morning from 8:30 -9:30. Interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery, Hillside Rd., Pottsville. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Clare of Assisi Church, 250 E. Hancock St., St. Clair, PA 17970.
