Harriet A. Pletcher

Lock Haven - Harriet Ann Pletcher, age 74, died at Lock Haven Extended Care Unit on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008. She was born in Howard, Pa. on Nov. 6, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph C. and Ruth O. (Devinney) Pletcher. Harriet was an accomplished homemaker, was Protestant by faith, was an avid soap opera watcher, and loved spending family time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She attended Mt. Eagle School in Howard Twp. in her younger years. She is survived by her daughters: Theresa A. (Harry) Ramser and Donna K. Embick of Lock Haven, brother: Joseph A. Pletcher of Bellefonte, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son: Carl L. Pletcher, brothers: James, John, and Carl, and sisters: Florence and Janet. Funeral services will be held at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008 with Major Margaret Johnson officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6-8p.m Wednesday. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Blanchard Christian Cemetery.
