Harold R. Davis

WILLIAMSPORT - Harold Richard Davis, 79, formerly of Kenyon Ave, Cogan Station, died Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Providence Park Hospital in Novi Michigan. Born September 29, 1931, in Williamsport PA, Harold was the son of the late Richard and Amelia (Bowen) Davis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne (Kinley) Davis in 2000. Harold served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. Harold retired from the Loyalsock Township School District where he worked for 25 years. Harold was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Surviving are his son, Mark, daughter-in-law, Kim and granddaughter Johannah of Plymouth, MI. He loved spending time with his granddaughter Johannah, and watching Penn State football. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 31 at Allen & Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St. with the Rev. Kenneth R. Elkin, officiating. A visitation will be held from 1pm until the time of service. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
