Harold D. Slothower

WELLSVILLE – Harold D. Slothower, 91, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023 at Celebration Villa in Dillsburg. He was the husband of the late Geraldine E. (Sweet) Slothower to whom he was married for 67 years.

Born October 11, 1932 in Wellsville, he was a son of the late Lester Slothower and Janet (Spangler) Slothower.

Mr. Slothower is survived by three sons, Rick Slothower and his wife Darlene of Carlisle, Jeff Slothower and his wife Paula of Dillsburg and Ken Slothower and his wife Irene of Melbourne, FL; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother Gerald Slothower of Wellsville; and a sister Nancy Brummett of Beavertown. Harold is preceded in death by his wife Geraldine E. (Sweet) Slothower; a son Stephen Slothower; and two brothers Robert Slothower and Donald Slothower.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc. in York is helping the family with arrangements.
