Gwendolyn L. Kapp

Dover—Gwendolyn L. Kapp, 70, died Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at York Hospital. A Gathering of Friends will be held from 2-5 PM, Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the James Danner V.F.W – Post 537, 1095 Pines Rd, Etters. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born December 9, 1943 in York, she was a daughter of the late Bayard R. Kapp Sr., and Evelyn M. (Wagner) Kapp. She was employed as an office manager with Snyder Volvo in York for 40 plus years until her retirement. An avid animal lover she was a member of numerous animal rights organizations and a member of the Shiloh American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Ms. Kapp is survived by a sister, Frances F. Eisenhour of Dover and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bayard R. Kapp Jr., and Larry P. Kapp. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to any no kill pet shelter or no kill pet rescue.
