Gregory E. Seiffert

YORK- Gregory Seiffert, 66, of York County passed away peacefully on February 22nd with his family by his side. Greg graduated from York High in 1976 and went on to attend York College. He was very involved in coaching youth football at York Boys club and West York Boys Club. Greg was a member of York Elks #213 BPOE Lodge.

He will always be remembered as a loving husband, supportive father (to his dogs too), and amazing fun-loving pappy. He always did whatever he could to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed spoiling his dogs, feeding the squirrels, watching sports, relaxing on the beach, and playing Bocce in his free time. He always had a sense of humor and could make everyone laugh. We were blessed with so many great memories with Greg that will always be in our hearts.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nancy; his children Megan and her partner, Nick of Dover, Hannah and her husband, Adam of Hagerstown, MD and Tyler and his wife, Alyssa of East York; four grandchildren, Noah, Aubrey, Sienna and Nico; sister, Shonna Weidner and her husband, Rick of North Carolina; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Joleen Seiffert.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Amy Favorito officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be private at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
