Gregory L. Crist

YORK – Gregory L. Crist, 66, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Deborah A. (Grim) Crist to whom he was married for 36 years. A viewing will be held from 5-7:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2015 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be private. Born June 19, 1949 in York a son of the late William H. and Evelyn A.M. (Keefer) Crist, he was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School. Mr. Crist retired from Harley Davidson, Inc., and loved attending yard sales and auctions. He was an avid collector of Matchbox and Hot Wheel cars and trucks. He was a member of The 13th Ward and was a loving grandfather and husband. In addition to his wife, Mr. Crist is survived by two sons, Jesse and wife Shannon Crist of West York and Vince Crist, Sr. of York; five grandchildren, Griffin, Gretchen, Makenna, Marissa, and Vince Crist, Jr.; and two aunts.
