Gregory J. Knoll

YORK- Gregory J. Knoll, 66, died on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Allison Duke officiating. A visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the service.

Born on September 16, 1955, he was a son of the late James and Delia (Ratzlaff) Knoll. He graduated from Portage High School in Portage, Indiana and from the York Academy of Arts. Greg was a graphic art designer for Marketechs for over 15 years and recently retired from York Barbell.

Mr. Knoll was an outdoor enthusiast who was an avid fisherman and loved hunting. He especially loved his fishing trips to Canada. He was a member of the Starview Sportsman Association where he shot sporting clays and was a member of many pool leagues throughout the York Area.

Mr. Knoll is survived by two daughters, Shannon Patterson and her husband, Troy of York and Erin Inzana and her husband, Eric of York Haven; four grandchildren, Allison, Kiera, Alex and Carter; two brothers, Gary Knoll and his wife, Deborah of Ocklawaha, FL and Daniel Knoll and his wife, Lisa of Avon, SD; and his sister, Linda Culp and her husband, Noah Back of Valparaiso, IN.
