Grace R. (Grimm) Gopp

YORK – Grace R. (Grimm) Gopp, 82, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at the home of her grandson, Christopher. She was the wife of the late Russell G. Gopp. Funeral services and burial will be private. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born August 31, 1930 in Willard, OH a daughter of the late David and Jeanette Grimm, she and her husband Russell had owned and operated a carry-out beverage and convenience store in New London, OH. She had also waitressed for 25 years in Port Charlotte, FL. Grace cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, Suduko, and computer games. Grace and Russell could always be found playing Rummy. Mrs. Gopp is survived by two daughters, Barbara E. and husband Thomas Gross of New Bethlehem, PA and Claire Ellen Cowfer of Wadsworth, OH; seven grandchildren, Christopher, Chad and wife Julie, David and wife Jessica, Dennis and wife Shayla, Thomas Corey and wife Rebecca, Jerry, and Cathy; 12 great grandchildren; a granddaughter in law, Hanna; and a sister, Mary Reinhold of Minnesota. She was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas A. Gopp and Russell G. Gopp, Jr.; and a grandson, Jason.
