Grace L. (Long) Jaasund

York—Grace L. (Long) Jaasund, 85, passed away, Friday, June 11, 2010 at Normandie Ridge. She was the wife of the late Warren A. Jaasund, to whom she was married for 57 years. A celebration of life service will be private at the convenience of family. Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 1551 Kenneth Rd, York, is in charge of arrangements. Born August 15, 1924 in Youngstown, OH, she was a daughter of the late Mary (Kerin) Long. She was a loving homemaker, who enjoyed shopping, gambling, playing bridge, was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and a member of the Peppermint Patties Red Hatters. Mrs. Jaasund is survived by four children, Karen J. Rovegno and husband, Richard of Carlisle, Nina J. Mulherin and husband, Thomas of Phoenix, AZ, Warren K. Jaasund and wife, Wanda and family of Rapid City, SD and Spencer T. Jaasund and wife, Deb of Hellam, three grandchildren, Holly G. Mulherin of Scottsdale, AZ, Steven K. Mulherin of Tempe, AZ and Alexandria F. Jaasund of Hellam and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and one sister.
