RED LION - Grace I. (Hake) Harvey, 84, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009, at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas Z. Kline and Richard E. Harvey.
A funeral tribute service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with her pastor, the Rev. Peter M. Beddia, officiating. Viewings will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be held in Winterstown EV Cemetery.
Born July 12, 1925, in Dallastown, she was a daughter of the late Elmer T. and Mabel E. (Hildebrand) Hake. She was employed with Autokraft in Red Lion as a machine operator for 38 dedicated years until her retirement in 1984. A member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Brogue, she also enjoyed camping, shopping and loved family gatherings.
Mrs. Harvey is survived by three daughters, Helen G. Kornbau, Delores M. Nubile and Carleen H. Dunlap, all of Red Lion; one stepson, Donald E. Harvey of Red Lion; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret and Phyllis Mundis, both of Red Lion; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Martha Horn, Hazel Hake and June Patton; and a companion, Lester Grove.
