RED LION- Grace (Grim) Roseman, 100, entered the presence of God on Friday, January 23, 2015 at Providence Place in Dover. She was the wife of the late LaVere D. Roseman. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at First Church of the Brethren 2710 Kingston Rd. in York. Her pastor, The Reverend Donald Hubbell will be officiating at the service. Viewings will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Roseman was born in Abbottstown on August 17, 1914, the daughter of the late John W. and Elva E. (Stine) Grim. She started her teaching career in a one room school house in Red Lion, later teaching in Dover and retiring from York City School District after a combined 40 years of service. Mrs. Roseman was a member of First Church of the Brethren in York; PASR Pennsylvania School Retiree’s and YCRT York County Retired Teachers. Her passions in Life included serving the Lord, enjoying time with her family and friends, teaching, playing cards and traveling. Mrs. Roseman leaves a son, LaVere G. Roseman and his wife Kathy of York; a daughter, Sidney R. Innerst and her husband, Charles, of Dallastown; three grandchildren; Dana Stump and her husband Joe, Peggy Mumper and her husband Jeff, and Seth Roseman; four great grandchildren, Jack Stump, Maxwell Wertman, and Kaitlyn and Madison Mumper; a great, great granddaughter, Peyton Mumper; a sister-in-law, Ether Grim; and numerous nieces and nephews. Eight brothers, Landis, J. LaVere, J. Vernon, Richard, Joseph, David, Stewart, E. Glenn; and four sisters, Edith Winters, Amy Winter, Nettie Winters, and Ruth Myers had preceded her in death.
