Grace (Gentner) Schollenberger

BOYERTOWN, PA – Grace (Gentner) Schollenberger, 85, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014 at The Lutheran Home at Topton, Berks County. She was the wife of Ralph J. Schollenberger to whom she was married for 36 years. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at a later date. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Born March 7, 1929 in Salford Twp., Montgomery Co.; she was a daughter of the late Frederick H. and Cora Mae (Wenhold) Gentner. Grace was a graduate of Boyertown High School and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Boyertown. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Schollenberger is survived by two daughters, Terri M. and husband Roger Lehr and Susan J. and husband Todd Smith both of Allentown; a stepdaughter, R. Nadine MacAdam of Allentown; a stepson, Garland E. and wife Linda Schollenberger of York; three grandchildren; a step granddaughter; two great grandchildren; a step great grandson; and a sister, Helen G. Yohn of Pottstown. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina M. Moyer; a great granddaughter; a brother; and four sisters.
