Grace E. (Shoemaker) Heverly

McELHATTAN - Grace E. (Shoemaker) Heverly, 93, of Lock Haven died at her brother’s home in McElhattan on Monday, July 22, 2013. She was born June 17, 1920 in Lock Haven the daughter of John C. and Minnie May (Ramser) Shoemaker. Grace was married to Melvin K. Heverly who preceded her in death. She worked for Woolworth’s as a sales clerk. She was a member of Swissdale United Methodist Church. Surviving are a daughter Teresa Frances of San Antonio, TX, five grandchildren and one brother Harold (Velma) Shoemaker of McElhattan. A son Melvin H. Heverly, Jr. preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at Dunnstown Cemetery.
