Grace A. Schrum

York—Grace A. Schrum, 93, died Friday, August 31, 2012 at her residence in York City. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM, Friday September 7, 2012 at St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ, 1569 W. Market Street, York, with her pastor, the Rev. W. Arthur Grahe officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10 AM, Friday, at the church. Burial will be held in Shiloh Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd, York is in charge of arrangements. Born June 15, 1919 in West York Borough, she was a daughter of the late Allen F. and Mazie V. (Heilman) Schrum. She was employed with Jenkins Precision Grinding for over 20 years as a machine operator until her retirement. Grace was a member of St. Stephen’s United Church of Christ in York. She is survived by one sister, Doris Haney; sister-in-law, Patricia Schrum and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ellen Landis and Evelyn Zartman and one brother, David Schrum.
