Gordon W. Mckinney

LOCK HAVEN - Gordon W. McKinney, 61 of Parrottsville, TN died Friday, September 3, 2010 at James H. Quillen Veterans Hospital, Johnson City, TN. He was born in Lock Haven on March 19, 1949 the son of the late Gordon F. and Elva R. (Steffy) McKinney. Gordon was employed by the Internal Revenue Service. He served in the U.S. Navy. Gordon was a member and volunteer for the Disabled American Veterans. Surviving are one brother Jeff McKinney of Avis and two sisters Carol (Pat) Peluso of Lock Haven and Mary McKinney of Lexington, SC Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M., Thursday, Sept., 9, 2010 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232, Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
