Gloria Miller Stauffer

SPRINGETTSBURY TWP- Gloria (Sudbeaz) Miller Stauffer, 75, died at her daughter's home Friday, April 18, 2008. She was the wife of the late Rev. Lloyd B. Stauffer. A Funeral Tribute service will be 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with her pastor from Unitarian Universalist Congregation Church, Rev. Robert F. Renjilian officiating. A viewing will be held from 6 to 7:00 p.p. Wednesday at the funeral home. Gloria was born June 20, 1932 in New York City, a daughter of the late Anton and Alice (Kazanjian) Sudbeaz. She received her Masters in Education and was an Elementary school teacher in Long Island, NY. Gloria was a member of Welcome Wagon and a volunteer for VNA Hospice of York. She had compassion for all living creatures and loved animals, which led her to an organic, vegetarian lifestyle. Her spirituality brought comfort to her and those around her. Surviving Gloria are her daughter, Dr. Valerie Miller and Dave Hoffman of York; her son, Charles and his wife, Lani Miller of Baltimore, MD; five grandchildren; and good friends, Dennis and Sandy Leonard. In addition to her parents and second husband, Lloyd, her first husband, Charles Miller, preceded¬ Gloria in death.
