Red Lion — Gloria I. (Wagner) Malott, 92, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her residence in Red Lion Borough. She was the wife of the late Thomas P. Malott. A Celebration of Life Service will be 10 AM, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with her pastor, the Rev. David D. Tietje officiating. A viewing will be held from 9-10 AM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Red Lion Cemetery. Born February 5, 1923 in York, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary E. (Rinehart) Wagner. She was employed as a seamstress with various Red Lion Area sewing factories throughout her working years. A member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Red Lion, she was also a social member of the Red Lion American Legion-Post 543. She was an avid golfer and participated in a bowling league for several years. Mrs. Malott is survived by her son, Daniel P. Malott of Red Lion; one granddaughter, Nicole D. Malott and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Assoc., Greater PA Chapter, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
