Gloria I. Klunk

YORK- Gloria I. (Grim) Klunk went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on November 24, 2018. She was born on February 6, 1934, the daughter of the late Ervin C. and Rosella (Heindel) Grim. She was a self-employed beautician, a hostess at both Hunt Valley Inn and Yorktowne Hotel, and a bookkeeper at Red Lion Country Club. Gloria was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in York. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and was a graduate of Red Lion High School. Gloria leaves her son, William M. Hake, a daughter, Darlene McWilliams; ten stepchildren,and a sister, Margaret Flinchbaugh. She was also blessed with 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, whom she loved and who loved her very much. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester P. Hake and her second husband, Paul H. Klunk; and a sister, Louise Oberdorff and a brother Nevin Grim. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on December 8, 2018 at Abundant Life Center, 3930 Farm Drive in York, 17402. Her son, Pastor William Hake will be officiating at the service, with a light luncheon served afterward.
