RENOVO - Gloria Hannah Sutliff, age 73, died at Geisinger Medical Center on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010. She was born in Renovo on June I, 1937, a daughter of the late James E. and Hazel (Kitchen) Stuart, and later, her stepmother: Gladys Stuart. Gloria was a 1955 graduate of Renovo High School, was a member of the Seventh Street United Methodist Church, and worked for many years in hotel management at the Williamsville Inn in Buffalo, N.Y. She was a member of the Eastern Star, a devoted homemaker, and loved family time, especially with her grandchildren. Surviving is her husband, Edward B. Sutliff, whom she married on Nov. 17, 1956 in Renovo, a son: Edward B. Sutliff Jr. of New Cumberland, Pa, daughters: Mary E. Kuebler, Karen M. (John) Aquino, and Dora J. Rosati all of Buffalo, N.Y. Also surviving are grandchildren: Joseph, Steven, Nicholas, Michelle, Jenna, and Frankie, brothers: James (Grace) Stuart of Duncansville, Pa. and Fred Stuart of N. Bend, sisters: Dorothy Stuart of Renovo, Ida Cornelius of Hyner, and Dora Perry-Wilson of Green Valley, Arizona, and numerous nieces and nephews. A brother: Alan Lee and a sister: Theresa Probst preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at the Seventh Street United Methodist Church on Friday Sept. 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Robert Pickering officiating. Interment will follow in North Bend Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo, Pa from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service at church on Friday.
