Gloria Eleanor Bacchiocchi

YORK, PA-Gloria Eleanor (Lazzeri) Bacchiocchi, 91, formerly of Derby, CT and Santa Barbara, CA, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Elmcroft of York. She was the wife of the late Nelson Peter Bacchiocchi. Mrs. Bacchiocchi was born in Derby, CT on February 28, 1930, the daughter of the late Alfred and Emily (Bassi) Lazzeri. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Derby, CT, where she and her husband were married. She later became a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in York. She was a member of Adriatic Marchegian Club Ladies Auxiliary in Derby, CT and served as the secretary to the mayor in Derby in the early 1980’s. She leaves two daughters, Susan A. Hess and her husband Ronald of York and Linda M. DeLaughter and her husband, Jerry of Biloxi, MS; three grandchildren, Nicholas Robitaille, Hardy DeLaughter, and Sarah Mills; and a great grandson, Lyndon. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Preneta. Services will be private.
