YORK- Glenn R. Roseman,"The Gum Man", 83, of York Township, died Sunday, March 16, 2008 at York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Virginia E. (Barshinger) Roseman. A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11AM on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Viewings will be from 6 to 8PM Tuesday, and 10 to 11AM Wednesday at the funeral home. His pastor, The Reverend James E. VanZandt will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens with a flag folding by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Roseman was born in Winterstown on December 6, 1924, a son of the late Guy B. and Edna E. (Snyder) Roseman, and stepson of Miriam Roseman of Dallastown. He retired in 1987 from Borg Warner Air Conditioning Inc., as an electrician. Mr. Roseman was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Red Lion, Hanover Moose Lodge #227, and Red Lion American Legion #543. He was a US Army Veteran who served in WWII. Mr. Roseman leaves a daughter, Deborah Ann Keener and her husband Stephen of York and three grandchildren, Krysten A., Brooks T., and Zachary S. Keener, and two step sisters: Charlene Emenheiser and Faye Kinard both of Winterstown and nieces and nephews. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 121 West Broadway, Red Lion, PA 17356.
