Glenn O. Stiver, Jr.

LOCK HAVEN - Glenn O. Stiver, Jr., 74, of Lock Haven died Saturday, December 8, 2012 the Jersey Shore Hospital Emergency Room. He was born July 12, 1938 in Lock Haven the son of Glenn O. Stiver, Sr. and Viola (Myers). He was married on July 19, 1958 to the former Carolyn English. They celebrated 54 years of marriage together. Glenn worked for the former Clinton Paper Company and retired after 25 years as a truck driver. He enjoyed cutting wood, hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends at Fin, Fur and Feather. He was a member of the Tiadaghton Sportsmen’s Association. Glenn served in the Army National Guard for 10 years. Surviving are his loving wife and four daughters Cathy Ann Houck of Allenwood, Diana (Henry) Jolloff of Beech Creek, Viola Jane Shay of Muncy and Pamela Kay Probst of Blanchard. Five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Tow brothers William Stiver of Mill Hall and James Stiver of Ohio and a sister Mary Ann Hoffman of Mill hall. A son Adam L. Stiver, two brothers Robert and Adam also two sisters Edith and Ella preceded him in death. The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received one-hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
