Glen P. Weeder, Jr.

MILL HALL - Glen P. Weeder, Jr., 78, of Rote, passed away, Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 24, 1934 in Blackman Twp., Michigan the son of the late Glen P. Weeder, Sr. and Audrey L. (Burch). Glen was married to the former Sara E. Bauman on December 20, 1962. They celebrated 50 years of marriage together. He retired from Jersey Shore Steel after several years. Glen was a member of the Beech Creek American Legion. He served in the Navy on board the SSS Leary during the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, two sons Bob (Deb) Weeder of Lock Haven and Bill (Chris) Weeder of Mill Hall also a daughter Terri Barrett of Mobile, AL Five grandchildren Nina, Ariana, Thor, Tegan and Bridget. One sister Florence Duncan of Dearborn, MI The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
