Gladys M. (Gundrum) Yeager

MILTON - Gladys M. (Gundrum) Yeager, 85, died on Sunday, January 09, 2011 at the Kramm Health Care Center, Milton. Gladys was born on October 25, 1925 in Milton and was the daughter of the late Harry E. and Violet L. (Starks) Gundrum. She was married in 1941 to the late Byron W. Yeager who had died on November 20, 1989. Gladys was a former employee of Chef Boyardee and retired in 1981 after 39 years employment. She was a member of the St. Andrews United Methodist Church, Milton for over 50 years. Gladys is survived by one daughter; Sandra L. Blackwell of Milton, two grandchildren; Sherry L. Russell Grimes and her husband Jeffrey of Chambersburg and Timothy A. Russell and his wife Christine of Northumberland, two great grandchildren; Tiffany Russell of Middleburg and Jennifer Russell of Northumberland, one brother and sister-in-law; Norman and Donna Gundrum of Milton and one sister and brother-in-law; Audrey and Bryon Kurtz of Milton. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son; Robert Yeager in 1956, two brothers; Harry Gundrum, Jr. and Richard Gundrum and three sisters; Mabel Hendricks, Florence Miller and Betty Dauberman. There will be a public viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 at The Dale E. Ranck Funeral Service, 125 N. Front St., Milton with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Pastor Dale L. Hippensteel will officiate the services. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
