Gladys G. (Zeigler) Stine

Dillsburg-Gladys G. (Zeigler) Stine, 97, of Carroll Township, died Friday, March 29, 2013 at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street in Lewisberry, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. Certified Celebrant Betty Frey will be officiating at the service. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill. Ms. Stine was born in Yocumtown on March 9, 1916, the daughter of the late Jacob and Elsie (Kohler) Zeigler. She retired after 27 years as a seamstress at Harrisburg Children’s Dress Factory. Ms. Stine enjoyed square dancing and was the co-founder of Central PA Square Dance Caller’s Association for 42 years. She was a devoted mother and never missed attending the Homecomings at Logania Church of God in Duncannon for the past 50 years. Ms. Stine leaves her former husband, Merrill D. Stine of Carlisle; two sons, Richard L. Stine (Jenny) of Dillsburg, Raymond C. Stine (Cheryl) of Williamstown; three daughters, Marian V. Keller (Glen) of Mechanicsburg, Millie A. Levine (Mark)of Harrisburg, and Martha J. Centini (Guy) of Dillsburg; 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Nina Stine of Duncannon; and a step sister, Beatrice Lilly of Dillsburg. A son, Russell D. Stine, two brothers, Stuart John Zeigler and Carl Zeigler; and several step sisters had preceded her in death.
