Gisela M. (Isleib) Brzozowski Taylor

PLAINS-Gisela M. (Isleib) Brzozowski Taylor, 76, of Plains, passed away Monday, October 22, while in route from Leipzig, Germany to Philadelphia. She was born in Leipzig, Germany on March 29, 1931 and was educated in Germany. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Wilkes-Barre, where she was a member of the Altar Guild and Bible Study. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was self-employed as a caterer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John J. Brzozowski, Sr. Surviving is her husband, Joseph "Joe" R. Taylor; sons John Brzozowski, Jr. and his wife, Noreen, Plymouth; Daniel Brzozowski and his wife, Diane, Plymouth; Mark Brzozowski, Sayre; daughters, Suzanna Smith, and her husband, Kenneth, Seaford, DE; Sonya Ormsby, Wilkes-Barre; Jacqueline Janusziewicz and her husband, Joseph, Plymouth; 14 grandchildren, Brian, Erin, Kelly, Jason, Joseph, Jeremy, Emily, Calvin, Tyler, Daniella, Jennifer, Stephanie, Joshua and Alexandria; two great grandchildren, Carly and Christian; brother Wolfgang Isleib, Germany; two sisters, Walthrop and Edith, both of Germany. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in Messiah Lutheran Church, 453 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. The Reverend Mary E. Laufer will officiate.
