Gertrude L. Cummings

LOCK HAVEN - Gertrude L. “Trudy” Cummings, 66, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at her residence. She was born February 2, 1950 in Castanea a daughter of the late William M. and Teressa J. (Delaney) Cummings. Trudy worked for Boise Cascade Company in New Jersey as a forklift operator and supervisor after 25 years of employment. She worked as a cook for Dunkles Café, Greystone, and the Village Tavern. She enjoyed quilting, baking needlepoint and crafts. She was a former member of the Majestic Mountain Fellowship Church. Surviving are two brothers; William M. (Glenna) Mincer of Indiana, Kenneth Cummings of Renovo and seven sisters; Kathleen (Ken) Snavely of Lamar, Betty Aber of Lock Haven, Nancy (George) Young, Lock Haven, Dottie Cummings of VA, Sandra Cummings of Lock Haven, Marie Cummings and Mary Cummings both of Blanchard. Several nieces and nephews survive. Three brothers Ronald Cummings, Donald Mincer and Robert Mincer also two sisters Teresa Lapp and Sharon Munro preceded her in death. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced.
