Geraldine N. Boswell

Red Lion - Geraldine N. (Stott) Boswell, 76, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Manor Care Health Services-Dallastown. She was the wife of the late Howard W. Boswell Sr. A celebration of life service will be private at the convenience of the family. Life Tributes by Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc, 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion is in charge of arrangements. Born December 23, 1934 in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late George and Eleanor (Schaeffer) Stott. She was employed with Reliable Stores Corp in Columbia, MD in their administrative department as an office manager for 42 years, until her retirement in 1998. After her retirement she worked at Little River Elementary School in South Riding, VA as an aide. She enjoyed time with family, especially reading to her grandchildren, playing games and cards. She was also a member of Credit Women International. Mrs. Boswell is survived by three sons, Rev. Dr. Howard W. Boswell Jr., and wife, Rev. Bronwen of Buffalo, NY, George C. Boswell and wife, Georgianne of Red Lion and Ramon J. Boswell of Leesburg, VA, eight grandchildren, Katie, James, Ian, Rhett, Lynn Ann, Ellie Jane, Paula Kay and Danielle, and two great grandchildren, Kyle and Kara. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 3417-C Concord Rd, York, Pa 17402 or Kenmore Presbyterian Church, 2771 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, NY 14217.
