Geraldine L. Lange

LOCK HAVEN - Geraldine Louise (Bailey) Lange, age 88, died at Susque-View Home on Friday, May 15, 2009. She was born in Woolrich on March 9, 1921, daughter of the late Clarence R. and Helen E. Rayhorn Bailey. Geraldine worked as a seamstress for many years at the Wundie Company in Williamsport. She was a member of the Woolrich United Methodist Church, Keen Club of the Church, was a charter member of the Elks and Moose, and volunteered for the Meals On Wheels Program. She was very active in the Jersey Shore Senior Citizens and the Messiah Lutheran Senior Citizens of S. Williamsport. She was a person who loved the outdoors and especially socializing with her neighbors. Surviving is her daughter: Pamela (Robert) McCloskey of Catasaqua, Pa., grandchildren: Jim, Darrin, Shelbi, Becky, and Terri, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Also surviving is her sister-in-law: Mary Catherine Bailey of Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 14, 2009 at Woolrich Community Church with Pastor William Anderson officiating. Private family interment will be at Woolrich Cemetery.
