Geraldine "Grandma Gerri" (Ippolito) Henneman

YORK- Geraldine (Ippolito) Henneman, “Grandma Gerri”, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at York Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the wife of the late Gerry Alan Henneman to whom she was married 45 years before his passing in 2010. A Celebration of Life tribute service will be held at Noon on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Certified Celebrant Jessica R. Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 11AM-12 prior to the service. Inurnment will be private in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born March 3, 1935 in Bloomfield, New Jersey, Gerri was a daughter to the late Salvatore and Vincenza Ippolito. She worked in finance as an executive secretary in New York City where her office overlooked Rockefeller Center. Geraldine was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in York. Grandma Gerri had a personality unlike any other and has truly left an indelible mark on all those who knew and loved her. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. Mrs. Henneman is survived by a sister, Antoinette Mannone and her husband Ralph of Setauket, Long Island; her beloved “granddaughter”, Mary and husband Gregory Kline, their children, and her dearest special girl, Serenity. In addition to her husband and parents, Geraldine was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister, and her great love, Frank Sinatra.
