Geraldine B. Asper

YORK- Geraldine B. “Gerry” (McSherry) Asper, 86, of Lower Windsor Township, passed away on October 31, 2024 at York Hospital. She was the wife of the late Darrell C. Asper, Sr.

 Services will be private. Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion is assisting the family with the arrangements. 

 Mrs. Asper was born in York on August 23, 1938, the daughter of the late Jesse and Gladys N. (Smeltzer) McSherry.

 She was a life member of the West York VFW, ladies auxiliary. 

 Mrs. Asper leaves a daughter, Debbie A. Reed of York; a son, Darrell C. Asper, Jr. of Red Lion; four grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Reichard. Send condolences at HeffnerCare.com
