Gerald Stevenson

NORTH BEND - Gerald Stevenson, 77, passed away, Saturday evening, April 4, 2015 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center. He was born April 16, 1937 in Renovo a son of the late Orman and Anna (Russell) Stevenson. Gerald was married on September 15, 1960 to the former Gladys L. Green. They celebrated 55 years of marriage together. He worked for Delta Drilling Company retiring in 1987. He was a member of Labors Union Local 824, Bellefonte. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, North Bend. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife; one son John G. (Sandra) Stevenson of North Bend and two grandsons John G. (Paige) Stevenson, Jr. of Forth Worth, TX and Michael C. Stevenson of Shippensburg, PA and two great grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Fred Pharis of Montoursville and a sister Violet Boeding of Renovo. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers Raymond Pharis, Kenneth Stevenson and Donald Stevenson, a twin sister Geraldine Stevenson, as well as five sisters Viola Mincer, Grace Marie Stevenson, Dorothy Lewis, Marian Botsford and Elizabeth Williams.
