Gerald Ray Haring

YORK SPRINGS- Gerald Ray Haring, 80, died on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at his residence.

A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, 305 W. Front St., Lewisberry with the Reverend James Winter officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery. The service will be livestreamed at HeffnerCare.com by searching Gerald’s obituary around 11 a.m.

Born on January 26, 1942 at home in Lewisberry, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Alma M. (Harro) Haring. Gerald worked at the Navy and Army Depots, then was a truck driver at Lefever Millworks for 15 years until his retirement.

Mr. Haring enjoyed gardening, trapping and buying furs.

Gerald is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Kreider, Elizabeth Jones and Jacqueline Haring; four grandchildren; three brothers, Robert E. Haring, K. David Haring and Daniel L. Haring; and five sisters, Ada R. Fetrow, Lois M. Pannebaker, Anna L. Seifert, Sandra E. Fogle and Linda M. Redcay. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronald L. Haring, Cleon L. Haring and Darvin C. Haring; and sister, Sharon J. Bushman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation, Inc., 813 S. Baltimore St., Dillsburg, PA 17019.
