Gerald R. 'Jerry' Barnhart

HAMBURG Gerald R. “Jerry” Barnhart, 72, formerly of Dallastown, died at 7:15 A.M. Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Laurel Center in Hamburg, Berks County. He was the husband of Doris E. (Paules) Travaglini Barnhart and the late Pearl Irene Barnhart. Private family services will be held with burial at Greenmount Cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, York is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Barnhart was born September 27, 1942, near Stewartstown, in Hopewell Twp. He was the son of the late John H. and Emma J. (Godfrey) Barnhart. He retired as a landscaper after working many years in the greater York area. He also served in the US Army. In addition to his wife, Mr. Barnhart is survived by a son, Gerald Barnhart; a brother, John Barnhart of York; and a sister, Geraldine Welsh, also of York.
