Gerald F. Spear, Jr.

Wrightsville – Gerald F. Spear, Jr., 45, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM, Monday, July 13, 2015 at Susquehanna Grace Community Church, 6694 Sunrise Ave., Wrightsville with his pastor, Lonnie Skiles officiating. An open-house visitation will be held from 5 – 6:30 PM Monday at the church. Born July 27, 1969 in Fall River, Mass., Gerald was a son of the late Gerald Spear, Sr. Mr. Spear was the sole-proprietor of Burning Spear Entertainment which he opened in 1991. He attended Susquehanna Grace Community Church. Gerald was an avid photographer and musician with his favorite band being U2. He was a World War 2 reenactor, a scuba diver and enjoyed ghost-hunting. Mr. Spear loved the Boston Red Sox, his dogs, and above all, he loved his children. He celebrated six months of sobriety in June. Mr. Spear is survived by one son, Tyler J. Spear of York; one daughter, Chloe M. Shearer-Spear of Spring Grove; one brother, Chris Crepeau of Chester County; two sisters, Robin Clark of Florida, and Janice Crepeau of Mass.; and his grandparents, Don and Judy Chrismer of York. He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Chrismer.
