Georgia J. (Davis) Stevens

Georgia J. (Davis) Stevens, 81, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Manor Care North. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Friends and family will meet at 1:45 PM Wednesday at the entrance of the cemetery. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Stevens was born on April 13, 1929 in Nutter Fort, WV a daughter of the late Jennings and Hilda (Roose) Davis. She is survived by a daughter, Cheril L. and husband Mark Chronister of Dover; two sons, Walter H. and wife Judy Stevens of York and Robert P. Stevens of Dover; five grandchildren, Melissa Eberly, Todd Stevens, Robert Stevens, Jessica Stevens, and Michele Chronister-Ammidown; three great grandchildren, Alicia Stevens, Hunter Eberly, and April Stevens; a brother, Richard Davis of Maryville, TN; two sisters, Sharon Simons and LaDonna Emrick both of Clarksburg, WV; and a cousin, Dr. Kathy Spreen of West Chester, PA.
