Georgia Ann (Cutshall) Sprenkel

DOVER- Georgia Ann (Cutshall) Sprenkel, 75, passed peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2023 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2023 at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, 839 W. Market St., York with her pastor, the Reverend Kevin T. Shively officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York is in charge of arrangements.

Born on June 21, 1948 in York, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Norma (Jacobs) Cutshall. Georgia was a zoning officer for 35 years for Dover Twp. until her retirement. After retiring, she worked another 4 years for Dover Borough.

Mrs. Sprenkel was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was involved with the Parks and Recreation Department for Dover Township where she helped with many events. Georgia was also a member of the Emergency Management Agency for Dover Borough and Dover Township and a member of the Dover Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years. Georgia loved spending time with her friends and loved her community.

Mrs. Sprenkel is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Badin and her husband, Greg of Mt. Wolf; grandson, Conner Badin; and her Boston Terrier, Freddie. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Craig Cutshall and Steve Cutshall.
