George K. Hawkins

Lewisberry—George K. Hawkins, 65, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at Pinnacle Hospital. He was the husband of Betty A. (Stumpp) Hawkins. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front Street, Lewisberry is in charge of arrangements. Born November 26, 1952 in Paxtang, he was a son of the late Richard and Ada L. (Koelling) Hawkins. He was United States Government employed crane operator for 30 years until his retirement in 2002. A NASCAR fan, he was also an auxiliary member of the Lower Allen Twp VFW, loved building things and was known as “Mr. Fix It”. George is also survived by four children, Eric M. Hawkins and wife, Hollie of Lewisberry, Lisa M. Hawkins and husband, Santiago of Dover, Deanne R. Adkins of Virginia and C. Ray Adkins of Mechanicsburg; five grandchildren, Heather, Beth Ann, Emmah, Michael and Easten; one great grandchild, Gabriel; one brother, Steve Hawkins and wife, Dixie of Millsboro, DE.
