George H. Rohrbaugh

YORK- George H. Rohrbaugh, 91, died on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Manor Care North. He was the husband of the late Dorothy L. (Miller) Rohrbaugh. Services for Mr. Rohrbaugh are private at the convenience of the family. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York, is in charge of arrangements. Born on December 22, 1923 in Spring Grove, he was a son of the late Clarence and Lillian (Jones) Rohrbaugh. George was a milk man for Green’s Dairy for over 35 years until his retirement. Mr. Rohrbaugh served our country for three years in the U.S. Army during WWII. George was a past member of St. James Lutheran Church. George enjoyed dining out, walking and drinking coffee. He was a member of the Viking Athletic Association and the Thirteenth Ward Political Club. Mr. Rohrbaugh is survived by one son, Jeffrey Rohrbaugh and his wife, Dianne of Dover; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and daughter in law, Diana Rohrbaugh of York. He was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Rohrbaugh; and brother, Richard Rohrbaugh. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
