George Felix

Windsor Township- George Felix, Sr., 52 of Red Lion, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2007 at York Hospital. He was the husband of Kathy A. (Guyer) Felix. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at New Covenant Community Church, 284 Slab Rd. in Delta, with a viewing from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the church. Officiating the service will be Pastor Lanny D. Kilgore. Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd. in York is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Felix was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 8, 1954, a son of Domingo Felix of Florida and the late Alicia Velez. He owned George's Barber Shop in the Red Lion area and was well liked by his many clients because of his friendly, personable demeanor. He had committed his life to Christ and was an active member of New Covenant Community Church where he taught adult Sunday School, led home group Bible Study and spoke at New Covenant's Prison Ministries in York County. Mr. Felix leaves three sons: Jerry and George Felix, Jr. both of Red Lion, and George Felix Blouse: three daughters: Isabella, Patricia, and Priscilla, all of Red Lion, and two granddaughters.
