George E. Bo" Corbett

FELTON - George E. "Bo" Corbett, 48, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 13, 2009 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Rev. Stephany S. Sechrist officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 PM Sunday and 9-10:00 AM Monday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Born February 15, 1961 in York a son of Shirley P. (Shaeffer) Joines and husband Ralph Joines of Felton and George E. Corbett of Baltimore, MD, he had worked for Fitz and Smith, Inc., and prior to that worked for Red Lion Borough for 15 years. Bo enjoyed playing bingo at Lion's Hall and volunteering with Dallastown Borough's recreation events including the annual carnival. He will be remembered as a helping man with a good heart who particularly loved repairing bikes and giving them out to local children. Mr. Corbett is survived by a son, Todd Ehrie of Red Lion; a grandchild; two sisters, Dora L. and husband Michael Markle of Wrightsville and Connie L. and husband Dennis Stokes of Red Lion; a brother, John L. and wife Mona Joines of Felton; four nephews, Chris and Steven Stokes and Cory and Travis Seiple; and two great nieces, Autumn and Paige Seiple. Bo was preceded in death by an infant brother, Steven A. Joines. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Bo may be made to help foster local youth at People That Care Youth Services, Inc., PO Box 472, Red Lion, PA 17356; www.18south.org
