Genevieve V. (Waltimyer) Wagman

YORK - Genevieve V. (Waltimyer) Wagman, 95, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 with her husband by her side. She was the loving wife of Harold H. Wagman and the couple shared 58 wonderful years together.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Olewiler and Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion, with Pastor Luke Harbaugh officiating. Prior to the service, there will be a visitation from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Burial will be private at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. 

Born July 4, 1929 in York, Mrs. Wagman was a daughter of the late Marshall A. and Pauline M. (Bradfield) Waltimyer. Mrs. Wagman was a graduate of William Penn High School Class of 1948, and attended Rosenfield School of Cosmetology. Mrs. Wagman was a member of the former Pine Grove United Methodist Church. Genevieve was the secretary and treasurer for Wagman Manufacturing Inc., for many years before she retired. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, York Chapter 169; Salvation Army Ladies Auxiliary, York Chapter; and the American Association of Retired Persons. In her free time, she loved spending time with her husband, and loving family.

In addition to her beloved husband, Genevieve is survived by her children, Craig L. Wagman, Chris Lynn Wagman and his wife Betsy, Linda Ann (Connelly) Flinchbaugh, Michael A. Connelly and his wife Teresa, and Diane Sue (Wagman) Worley and her husband Thomas; a daughter in law, Betty J. Connelly; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Genevieve is preceded in death by two sons, John Robert Connelly II, and John Robert Connelly, Jr.; and a sister, Anna May (Waltimyer) Sizemore.
