Genevieve J. Kraft

LOCK HAVEN - Genevieve J. Eisenhower-Kraft of Freeport, age 93 passed away on December 1, 2017 with her family by her side at Pearl Pavilion Nursing Home in Freeport. Genevieve was born on August 20, 1924 in Loganton, PA. She was the daughter of Ralph and Cleda (Duck) Nichols. She was a graduate of Lock Haven, PA High School in 1942. She married Harvey Eisenhower on June 8, 1945. Harvey died on November 23, 1960. Genevieve married Robert Kraft on October 16, 1965 and he passed away on November 25, 1993. Genevieve was a Secretary working at Freeport Memorial Hospital, Micro Switch, and Economy Insurance Company, in Freeport IL. She prided herself on her expertise in writing shorthand. She was a 50 year plus member of the Order of Eastern Star in Lena, IL. Genevieve loved to sing and was in the choir at Lena United Methodist Church for many years. She was a member of the Stephenson Co. Antique Engine Club and was the 2001 Queen. She was a member of the Freeport Chapter Viet Now. She enjoyed going roller skating with her family. Genevieve is survived by three children; Gary Eisenhower Sr. (Susan) of Freeport, IL. Linda (Rodger) Moring , of Paris, TN and Pamela (Theodore) Neels of Freeport, IL. seven grandchildren; Jamie (Douglas) Folk of Pleasant View, TN, Brenda Moring of River Forest, IL, Valerie (Robert) Schubert of Vancouver, WA, Gary Jr. (Lisa) Eisenhower of Freeport, IL. Lindsay (Casey) Stephan of Freeport, IL, Chad Mullen, of Freeport, IL Matthew (Audrey) Mullen of North Augusta, SC. ,twelve great grandchildren; Alexander (Hilary), Micah, Talia, Alexa, Noah, Rayce, Taytum, Huxley, Wallace, Carolina, Delaney and Grady. She was preceded in death by her; parents, and husbands Harvey and Robert three sisters Kathleen Velma, Josephine and their husbands, niece; Sharon, and nephews; Ralph and Randy. Burial will take place at a later date in Rest Haven Memorial Park in Lock Haven, PA. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name for the All Veterans Memorial Park.
