Genevieve H. (Hoover) Hersh

RED LION- Genevieve H. (Hoover) Hersh, 82, of Windsor Township, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services in Dallastown. She leaves her companion Levere E. Horn, Jr. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place in Red Lion, with a viewing from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens in York. Mrs. Hersh was born in Spring Grove on November 15, 1931, a daughter of the late Harry and Fairy (Glatfelter) Hoover. She worked for Hanover Shoe Company and retired from Tate Access Flooring in Red Lion. Mrs. Hersh was a member of St. Jacobs (Stone) Lutheran Church in Glenville. She enjoyed reading and travel. Mrs. Hersh leaves two sons, Robert Hersh, Jr. of Spring Grove and Ricky Hersh of Red Lion; a daughter, Rosalee Hersh of Kulpmont; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
