Genevieve B. Howard

WINDSOR – Genevieve B. (Gunnet) Howard died in the arms of her daughter Diana and surrounded by her family on Monday, March 6, 2017. She was the wife of the late Levere C. Howard. A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 10, 2017 at Life Tributes by Olewiler & Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 35 Gotham Place, Red Lion with Stan Shaffer, Jr. officiating. Viewings will be held from 6-8:00 PM Thursday and 9-10:00 AM Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Salem Community Cemetery. Mrs. Howard was born on October 29, 1926 and at 90 years of age she has celebrated 32,871 days, 788,923 hours and 47,304,000 minutes. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Bertha (Yohe) Gunnet. Mrs. Howard retired from Perform Group, LLC after 35 years of service. She was a member of Arlington Evangelical Congregational Church where she was active with their Bible study group and playing cards with the ladies group. Genevieve was an avid reader and cherished spending time with her family. Mrs. Howard is survived by 10 amazing children, Christina M. and husband Gregory Engles of Dover, Jennifer L. Robinson of York, Bonita J. Snell-Frey and husband Terry Frey of Windsor, Kathleen B. Smeltzer of Wrightsville, Diana R. Howard of York, Patricia A. Yingling of Hellam, Mark L. and wife Brenda Howard of Wrightsville, Kerry A. and wife Patricia Howard of Yorkana, Kevin A. and wife Judy Howard of Red Lion and Michael S. Howard of York; 19 beautiful grandchildren; 19 loving great grandchildren; six wonderful great great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Wallick of Yorkana; and one Blessed Family.
